ESC Congress Educational Grants<\/h1>\n

The aim of these grants is to encourage and support the development of the professional careers towards the fight against cardiovascular disease.<\/p>\n

Recognising that the current regulatory environment is likely to impact the direct sponsorship of clinicians and scientists to congresses, the ESC is offering 200 Congress Educational Grants for ESC Congress 2018 in Munich.<\/p>\n

Submission deadline is 22 February 2018, midnight CET<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Educational Grants are offered to healthcare professionals, clinicians and researchers who have limited access to funding or difficulties to obtain financial assistance in order to attend the Congress.<\/p>\n

Successful applicants will receive \u20ac 850 as a contribution towards costs of travel and accommodation and will also benefit from a free congress registration and a one-year ESC Professional Membership.<\/p>\n

Eligibility criteria
\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n

All healthcare professionals in the Cardiovascular field who are\u00a0ESC Professional Member \/ Member of ESC<\/a>\u00a0are eligible to apply, priority will be given to applicants who are first-author of\u00a0research submitted to ESC Congress 2018<\/a>\u00a0as well as individuals from low & middle income countries<\/p>\n

There is no strict age limit, the applicant is required to complete all mandatory fields and upload a CV as well as a letter of recommendation\/ reference from Head of Department\/Hospital<\/p>\n

Please note that you can not apply for multiple congress related grants within the European Society of Cardiology\u00a0grant offers<\/a><\/p>\n

Previous year ESC Congress Educational Grants awardees (2016 and 2017) are not illegible to apply for ESC Congress 2018 Educational Grants<\/p>\n

Upon notification, confirmation of acceptance by the awardees and complementary information must be provided by end of April 2018.<\/p>\n
