EAPCI Fellows Course is organised by the Young Group and designed to provide with an update on standards of PCI including indications, tool selection, treatment of specific lesion subsets and interventional pharmacology. Theory will be supported by interactive case discussions. The program is also enriched by a brief visit in the structural field.<\/p>\n

<\/a>What is this Course all about?<\/h2>\n

This Course will provide participants with an\u00a0overview on the theoretical background of interventional techniques<\/strong>, and will dive into the details of everyday practice by reviewing relevant case presentations. It will offer a broad overview from very basics, such as the choice of catheters and guidewires, to more advanced interventional techniques, such as treatment of bifurcations or chronic total occlusions. A brief visit into the field of structural interventions will also be part of this Course.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, this Fellows\u2019 oriented Course will also allow participants to exchange everyday experiences via\u00a0peer-to-peer case presentations<\/strong>, supported by the commentary from experts in the field.<\/p>\n

What to expect from this Course?<\/h2>\n

All topics will be covered by the\u00a0state-of-the-art lectures of renowned experts<\/strong>, which will be open to questions from the participants. Review of cases and complications, in a preliminary session or integrated in the lectures or questions, offer examples of practical applications of the concepts discussed.<\/p>\n

The EAPCI Fellows Course grants participants with the opportunities to\u00a0meet the field\u2019s experts<\/strong>, and to create their own\u00a0networking experiences within the young community<\/strong>. Indeed, this interaction will hopefully establish links and long-term relationships helpful for personal development and a greatest integration of European professionals in Interventional Cardiology.<\/p>\n

The 4th EAPCI Fellows Course at EuroPCR, hosted by EuroPCR, will be held on Monday 15 and Tuesday morning 16 May 2017 at the Palais des Congr\u00e8s in Paris. Registrations are exclusively open for practitioners under the Fellow status.<\/p>\n
