Cardiologists of Tomorrow (CoT)
These sessions are designed by the ESC Cardiologists of Tomorrow in close collaboration with the young Communities of the ESC Associations. The dynamic educational track provides young cardiologists with some of the most relevant and up to date information on key areas in Cardiovascular Medicine, with the participation of internationally renowned experts.

Clinical case sessions
Five highly interactive and educational sessions where young clinicians present their cases and discuss management with senior experts.
The four main themes for clinical cases this year are “Arrhythmias and Devices”, “Interventional Cardiology”, “Heart Failure” and “Acute Cardiac Care”
Clinical Case Award session – the most challenging cases will be selected to run in competition.
The ESC will give a prize of € 2 000 to the best case presentation while the three remaining finalists will each receive € 1 000.
Results will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Monday 28 August at 18:00 in Dali, The Hub.
Scientists of Tomorrow (SoT)
The “Scientists of Tomorrow” are a group of young proactive basic and clinical researchers who work closely with the Council on Basic Cardiovascular Science to fulfill its mission to promote and support basic science among the young ESC members.
This dynamic track designed by ESC Scientists of tomorrow will be hosted in the Hub and present the most relevant and up to date information in basic cardiovascular research.
